It gives off a very strong smell and you only need to put a small amount in it and mix it very well. I haven't seen my cats in the litter box yet, but I hope they will accept it. Cats are very sensitive to smells.

A strong scent of lavender, but the cat wasn't bothered by it when I sprinkled a capful of the scent into its litter box with silica gel. The cat hasn't shown any discomfort so far; I'll update the review if there are any issues.
